What sets this ski area apart
The Moosalp is the alp of the commoners' corporation of Törbel and lies at 2048 metres, the high point of the pass road across the ridge between Bürchen, Törbel and Zeneggen. The highest point of the plateau is the Goldbiel at 2125 metres.
The view is the reason to come up here. To the south you look at the Mischabel group with the Dom, at 4545 metres the highest mountain standing entirely on Swiss soil, and at the Weisshorn group; to the north at the Bietschhorn.
Geologically the plateau is a product of the ice ages: the Rhone and Vispertal glaciers ground out its shapes, and the ground consists mostly of moraine material from the last glaciation. The ski area is small and skied almost entirely by locals.
