Leysin lies in the Vaud Alps and is a manageable ski area: 60 kilometres of piste served by 16 lifts.
The area runs from 1260 to 2330 metres above sea level, giving around 1,070 metres of vertical. The lower slopes depend on snowmaking in mild winters.
The season usually runs Dec – April.
Freestylers get a well-developed snow park, an adult day pass costs around CHF 62.
