What sets this ski area apart
Bergün lies in the Albula valley, on the pass road and on the Rhaetian Railway's Albula line. That line has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, and anyone arriving by train travels up through spiral tunnels and across viaducts that other people make the journey specially to see.
The village was formerly Romansh-speaking and is closely tied to the Engadine both economically and culturally; the double name Bergün/Bravuogn has been official since 1943. Since 2018 it has belonged to the municipality of Bergün Filisur.
The ski area on the Darlux is small and served by a chairlift from the village. Its appeal lies in the quiet and in the combination: a manageable day on the slopes, with a journey that is itself part of the point.
